Broadspeed was founded by Paul Visser in 1989 in Johannesburg. Today we offer import brokerage (own customs bonds) for both air and sea freight, as well as degrouping services in our Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban offices.

Exports are handled to worldwide destinations, including transhipments via South Africa into West and East Africa. We also use road & rail services into neighbouring Southern African countries. Our Cape Town office handles export perishables. Broadspeed also specialises in hunting trophies, wine exports, household and diplomatic goods, vintage vehicles, and dangerous goods.

Paul has over 30 years’ experience in forwarding consolidations, having previously worked for multinational companies in Germany and South Africa, and he is now based at Broadspeed's Head Office in Hout Bay, Cape Town.

Port Elizabeth and East London shipments are handled by Broadspeed Cape Town.
